I am married to the love of my life, and we just celebrated our 5th anniversary. I have one son (he's 17 - YIKES!!) from my previous marriage. I am so proud of him, and you'll see lots of pics of him in my layouts. (I'm also jealous... his hair is longer than mine!) I am a stay-at-home mom / housewife, at least for the time being. I'm a bit of a geek... I love Doctor Who and the Marvel superhero movies, Minecraft and The Sims 3. My hobbies (other than scrapbooking) are cooking (including baking and canning), shooting (pistols, rifles, shotguns), photography, and sometime this year I'm hoping to learn basic sewing and leather-working techniques. I got started in paper scrapping 1999 when my son was about 18 months old, and I managed to keep up with it until he was about 30 months old... at which time my house just wasn't big enough to handle both a toddler and paper scrapper! Fast-forward 10 years...I picked up digital scrapping in 2009 when I was looking for a way to put together a wedding album. I learned a little, but didn't get into it in a big way until May of 2014. I decided I wanted to spend some time scrapping some of our vacation pictures and old family pictures. To say I've jumped in with both feet is putting it mildly!
